Help with dilemna

Okay we just got back from MNSSHP and Pop Century. It was great but we ended up switching hotels 1/2way through to AKL. Pop was fine, but with a 2 year old and my mother with a hurt knee it just didn't work out. Now we are booked for 2 rooms at Pop from 11/27 to 12/4 with the best rate program. Now my parents want to upgrade to a deluxe or 2 bedroom villa. Do you think there is anyway possible I could do this and still get the ap rate or am I pretty much screwed? We would be going from about $120 a night to between $400-500 a night so you would think it would be better for them. Has anyone had any luck with this or know what I should do? Should I ask to speak to a manager or just check out AAA rates and lose the deposit?

You should be able to change resorts on your reservation without penalty as long as you are not changeing dates as well. The biggest challenge may be whether or not there are any deluxe resorts available at that time with a passholder rate.
