Help with different pu/drop off location

Hi,

DD and I would like to rent a car from PNS in north Florida and drop off car at RSW in south Florida starting May l7.

l0 day period, full size car gets me $400 with fees from Dollar and $650 from National.

How can I get a better rate? Priceline and Hotwire don't seem set up to price out for different pu/drop offs.

Any suggestions to get this rate down? Thanks.

You have to try everything. Some agencies will charge a one way fee but allow discounts but others will not charge the fee but will exclude some of the discounts or coupons. $400 for a 2 week rental with fees isn't terrible.

Hotwire will price it, but you have to look for the one-way rentals link. We have gotten excellent deals on one-way rentals at Budget through them. They also work with Avis and Hertz, but Budget was by far the cheapest.
