My girlfriend and I will be in Disneyworld in August for 8 days 7 nights. I purchased the dining plan so now we need some suggestions on where to eat. This is the plan i made.. Im only worried about dinner so can anyone give me some suggestions?

1st night: arrive at 3PM.. probably going to be 7 before we get settled into our hotel: Wolfgang puck express for dinner

2nd night: Coral Reef

3rd night: Le Cellier

4th night: Chefs De France

5th night: San Angel Inn??

6th night: ???

7th night: California Grill (During Wishes)

I think that ending our trip eating at California Grill during Wishes will be perfect!!

Are there any restaurants that we "MUST GO" try out at least once that I can use to fill in the 5th and 6th nights? I prefer places that have romantic atomospheres.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

You really need to plan on an evening when you'll be able to enjoy Fantasmic! at Disney-MGM Studios. Depending on when you go in August, timing might dictate that you need to have dinner at D-MGM in order to have enough time time make it to Fantasmic! so I'll suggest you consider 50s Prime Time Cafe for that night.

You picked 2 of the restaurants I would've suggested in Le Cellier and Cali Grill. I agree with the post before, something around famtasmic, we went with the fantasmic dinner at Mama Melrose and had a great time. Good food and seating for the show was great. We really enjoyed JIKO, but since you already have Cali Grill(2 TS) you might not have enough credits.

I would recommend Spoodles at the Boardwalk. One of my favorites along with Le Cellier.

I heard Spoodles was excellent so I made a ressie there...it seems like the Boardwalk is alot of fun...

OH yeah, I forgot to ask what time should i make ADR for california grill so that we can eat while we watch wishes???

eat in Japan ---sorry about spelling here Teppananki.....

fun place to eat.

your ADR for CG will depend on when wishes is presented in August.
Look at last years times and will probably be the same. Plan your time for at least 1 hr ahead of time.

btw..
great choices on dinners

Hi

We've eaten at CG twice the second being on my birthday last month. I would recommend trying to arrange your dinner so you can eat then go out onto the terrace and watch Wishes from there. We did this last time, we finished dessert and took the last of our champagne out there, it was lovely :goodvibes

The first time we watched Wishes first then sat down to dinner. Because lots of people left just after Wishes we had the best table right by the window and watched the castle changing colour. Both times were in November so wishes was earlier than at other times of the year. I think if i'd set my hopes up in getting a great view from our table to watch i might have been disapointed.

Enjoy :goodvibes

We loved Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge. It was a lot of fun, the waiters have a great time. We had the skillet meal with ribs, chicken, pulled pork, smoked sausage, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and baked beans. you also get a salad and dessert. We plan to go here again.

You will enjoy the Coral Reef also. I wouldn't worry about having dinner reservations for Fantasmic. We had several friends at Disney in October and we all ate somewhere different (we ate at the 50's cafe and it was ok). No one was overly impressed by any of the restauants there. We went to Fantasmic twice and the second time we just went an hour and half before it started after we had eaten somewhere else. Love that disney transportation.

I've also heard Boma is very good at AK Lodge. We want to try there next time. Ditto for the TS in Japan, we've had friends recommend there too.

Four of your restaurants are located in EPCOT. I doubt you'll be spending 4 days in EPCOT. I'd only do that if you have the hopper option and you're staying in one of the EPCOT resorts.

Boma, at AKL, is a good option for your AK day. Bicker is right, you'll want a restaurant in the studios. Mama Melrose is also a good choice.
