Help with DDE ??s

I just received my annual pass vouchers by mail for our upcoming trip. We have never had APs before. I read about the Disney Dining Experience which sounds unbelievable for the price. Our trip is Nov 3-12. Should I call and order my card now? Do I need some type of code since I don't actually have my APs yet, just the vouchers. How long has it taken for your cards to arrive? Thanks for any help with this!

It takes about 4 weeks to come so plan acordingly.

I'm going November 25 and I think I will order it mid Oct.

You can buy it online at the passholder website or over the phone through AP but I don't know the number.

You can purchase it with the voucher.

I made the mistake of ordering mine too early & will have to order another before our next trip.

How early was too early?? Does it usually expire the same month you order it a year later? I'm trying to time it also since I will be going this Nov, possibly in April and then next November. Should I wait until October to order it then??

I wouldn't order it any later then Oct 1. It will 'probably' expire the end of November.

You can call the above number and ask them. I'm sure they can help you figure out when to call and order it for the latest expiry and so that you do get it in time!

I just ordered mine on Sept. 13 and they told me it will take about 4 weeks to arrive and it will expire at the end of October.

I ordered mine 6/18 for my trip 8/13-20. It arrived with an expiration date of 7/31.

You can also order it closer to your trip (at least 24 hours I believe). You will then need to go to Epcot Guest Relations and pick up a temporary card once you get to Disney that you can use for that trip. This way, your expiration date will extend out further than if you ordered it 6 weeks in advance.

We are going to try this out for our upcoming trip. And since we need to turn in our AP vouchers anyhow, we will just do it all at together at Epcot the day we arrive.

I ordered mine with a voucher 2 weeks before our trip. We planned on going to Epcot the first day anyway, so I just picked the letter up there. I received the actual card a couple of weeks later.

I, great id, my name is Michele C and I live in South Amboy, N. J.

I called for my DDE card on July 31st, gave them my departure date (8/21) and I received my cards in the mail on 8/15 and they expire 8/31/2006.
We used if for three sit down meals, at 3 different places and our savings was $50. We intend on using it again in Nov and Dec 2005.
