Did anyone watch this last night? I watched it all and am still confused and no one else watching with me seemed to understand either. I get that they solved the long running dollhouse case and how, but feel they left way too much unanswered.

1. What did the broken doll in each dollhouse symbolize?

2. Why did the guy kill these people? I can see his relationship to the singer who was trying to put the company he worked for out of business, but still - if you're a maintenance worker, do you really care? Would it be that hard to get another job. Similar to the guy killed there, since they worked together, there may have been some history, but just that he was sleeping with the boss' wife (along with apparently everyone else) didn't seem like a great reason for this guy to kill him. And they gave NO connection with the middle lady who was killed. How did he get in her house to get the exact info for the dollhouse? How did he get in the singer's house if it had an alarm and he had security? Do you think they'll explain any of this in future episodes?

3. Did you not think the girl in the other part of the plot was the most adorable kid you've seen on TV lately? I felt bad for her being on a show like this - she should be on some happy show like 7th Heaven!

I'm confused about 1 and 2 also.

Although with 1, maybe the look on horror on Gil's face at the end was more of a "I will never know" look than a "Oh man, I just saw a guy kill himself" look.

I'm w/ you. I don't get it either. :confused3

I was disappointed that he killed himself and thought it was a cheap way out of the storyline.

I missed it! Hopefully, I'll catch it in a re-run airing.

Not to threadjack, but is anyone else annoyed with the innuendo between Gil and Sarah? It bugs the mess out of me and dh. We feel like they either need to just blow it all out in the open or drop it. I don't particularly like Sarah's character.

Well, you'd think being CSI's and now knowing that he did it, that he'd be able to do some research and find the links. I'm just hoping that they do that and tie it up a little bit more. Otherwise this whole "we show you this eerie broken doll picture in each episode" just seems stupid to me! I was all ready for some deep symbolism or a sad story from his childhood!

I got the feeling that Grisholms expression and corresponding "no" under his breath was due to the fact that they would never have the answers they needed to fully understand the case.

And yes, that little girl was the CUTEST thing I have ever seen.

Wasn't that guy, the one who accidentally killed his wife, in an episode a few years back? Of course I've seen people who were murderers on CSI be FBI agents on NCIS and so on so it was probably another show!

I think CSI this year is getting a little bit wierd... I don't know if anyone watched X-Files back when it was popular but this is what happened with it. The first seasons were really intense and then it started to get wierder and wierded until it was so far-fetched that people stopped watching.

I didn't see any of that in the last couple weeks (last night definitely none that I caught). Thought they'd moved passed that. It was cute when it started (and I think Gil's really attractive so I'd like to see a bit more of a "personal" storyline with him), but would agree that if it's still going on without any progress that it would definitely be annoying. Can't say Sarah's on my list of favorite characters either. (Not as an actress, but the role she plays - she just comes across as really immature or *itchy!)

The killer was a handyman outside of his chicken farm job and had done some work around the house for the woman.

I'm positive he said something about futility of life and people never finding happiness in just exisiting... that the world had gone mad. That one could murder from sun up to down and never be done.... all while sipping tea.

Remember the older lady was a drug dealer (selling her painmeds) and alcoholic?? The rock star was out to get the chicken company and embarrassed him. And Raymondo was a know 'lethario'.

I'm thinking maybe he just wanted to go back to a simpler time, when people where just happy with what they had?!?!

This is helping because I'm confused too

But Greg and Sara would make a cute pair couple wise

Remember when David (the assistant morgue guy) was always hitting on Sara? I thought they would have been cute...but his character is engaged now.

I also remember a very short period when Catherine and Warrick had a little chemistry going on...

This shows relationships are crazy.

I was guessing he must have done work at her house but since I didn't remember seeing him in that episode, it seems like it would have been hard for him to be in there enough to have made a perfect miniature of her house. Maybe working off of a camera? And since we never (okay, I never) saw him in Izzy's house - how did he get in? I mean, maybe a little old lady, but a rock star?

And I was wondering about his "futility" statements too. Seemed to me like if he was just trying to get rid of all the "troublemakers", he wouldn't go to the effort of building a scene of their house which had to take ages. Might as well go and kill from sun up to down and get more people out of the way!

I always thought the chemistry between Gil and Catherine would be good.

Ever watch Degrassi? My teens are hooked on it and now I think I am even worse than them. I think in the 5-6 years it's been on, every main character has "hooked up" with every other main character (gender doesn't seem to make a difference :rotfl: ), at least once! Talk about confusing!

And I'm sorry - I can't stand David. I thought the other guy (can't remember his name, but he hated Gil and was aways trying to get his team in trouble) was a real jerk but at least he had personality (negative granted!). But David seems like a watered down, drab version of him. The kind of person if I worked with I'd have a hard time not just strangling!

Last week's episode ended with innuendo. Gil was reading a book and Sarah came along and they discussed what he was reading. Then Sarah says something along the lines of, "I'm going to bed. You had better come on because I dont plan to wait up."

Wasn't last week a rerun? I watched the first few minutes (was it the morgue one?) but it was from earlier in the season. If you mean the last "new" one before that, I can't remember it exactly so you may be right.

I agree- don't like her either. I cannot see the two of them together - makes me cringe. I can however see Gil and Katherine together.

Ok, dh and I haven't been watching as closely as we used to. I'm so confused. I can't remember if it was last week's epi or the week before that one!

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who doesn't care for Sarah. Someone mentioned she is whiney and ITA! I just don't care for her character at all.

ITA here with Gil and Katherine!

Oh, one more thing - I'm so glad Nick got rid of that ridiculous mustache!

Oh man, say it was. I deleted it off the DVR. Reading what it was about, I was sure I had seen it.

Last week was a rerun; the one before that was the one where he's reading Walden and she tells him she won't wait up.
