Help with codes for National

I already have a reservation for January, but I have a question. I have made the reservation with the Disney club discount which we all know is over on 12/31, but National's web site still recognizes it even for a January 04 rental. The discount is always a full 20%. I have seen a list of codes on mousavers.com for National and have tried a few that are for "up to 20%". Well none that I tried has given me any discount let alone the 20%. Does anyone have a valid code that will be taken on the website? I have tried the coveted Carlson Wagonlit code with no luck. I also tried the vacation outlet code with no luck. I don't get an invalid code message when making the reservation, it just seems to ignore it no matter how I book the car. Any suggestions?

Sorry I forgot, I am going to keep my reservation that I made with the DC if I can't get the same with a code that is supposed to be valid in January. If I get there and they try to deny me the discount, I have the original printout of the reservation screen showing the discount and in the past I have argued with National that I was charged more than my email confirmation stated. They told me if that is what they sent me then they have to honor it. All I had to do was fax them the confirmation and I was refunded the difference.

You are correct, if they accept it, they do have to honor it.

I too am looking for a working code for National. My Disney Club is good through Dec, and we are trying to book a car for January '04. Please post if anyone has it..

I have been using the DC code for my Jan. reservation.

Rick they have never asked me for the card.

If you have an American Express card, you can use the code AMWK for a weekly rental discount - I think it's 20% (just need to make sure you pay with Am. Express at time of rental to get discount). I ended up with a great rate for an intermediate for the week $120 including all taxes/fees. I also used the Entertainment coupon for $20 off a weekly rate.
