Help with Choosing

Crystal Palace

We went to CM for dinner and food was not really good but my son loves the characters and will go back for breakfast.
We went to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and dinner, breakfast food much better than dinner. Amazing character interaction with Cinderella and the step sisters.
Crystal Palace is a must in every Disney vacation sometimes 2x in a trip.
Ohana, we are trying it in our December trip

Thanks everyone for your input. Decided to go with CM. Even though the food may not be that great we think it will be worth it just for the characters. We'll booked Cinderella's so that covers us for the princesses and the kids are really not into Pooh and friends so that eliminates CP. We're looking forward to the trip!

Of those, I've only eaten at Chef Mickey's and 'Ohana.
Chef Mickey's had great character interaction...that being said, the food was inedible and I felt that I had paid a lot of money for a photo op I could have gotten at one of the character greeting areas in the park. (I had dinner there...I have heard the breakfast was much better.) My son is getting to the age that character meals aren't a priority anymore, so we won't be doing CM's again.

Now, 'Ohana is a completely different story. This is the place we have to eat every trip. I love the food, the theming of the Poly, the games and activities and interactions with the staff...everything about it. I love getting there early and hanging out in the Tambu Lounge, waiting for my table. If character dinners aren't necessary but you are still looking for a fun, enjoyable dinner, I'd go for 'Ohana.
