Help with BLT Room Request

Heading down to WDW on 8/17

We are staying in a standard 1 BR at BLT

We have previously stayed on the first floor and the second floor, both facing the pool. Definitely preferred the 2nd floor

I am thinking about requesting a 5th floor room since I believe there are some standard 1 BR views there. How are those views? Anyone think this is not a good idea? I will probably make the request via the online reservation site. T

My Mom and I were discussing this as well. We booked a 2 bedroom villa for October and this is our first stay there so we were wondering where to request. Of course we know there is no guarantee on requests
