Help with birthday

I will be in WDW on my birthday, staying at Wilderness lodge, with wife and daugthre (9). Does anyone have any recommendations for fun places to eat and is pak better than others to spend the day?

Whispering Canyon Café is supposed to be great fun. Or try somewhere with Characters.

And definitely get a birthday button and mention it when you reserve your dinner.

I have eaten in Ohana's and crystal palace on birthday trips.Both were great fun-espaecially with character interaction.
I think Magic Kingdom is by far the best place to be on your birthday,i had a birthday badge from guest relations and got sung to all day! (oh and free cake!)

Sorry to but in to this thread, but how do you get your birthday badge?

Do you just mention it at members services, is there a charge for the badge? Do you have to prove it is your Birthday?
