Help with 3 day Bahamas Cruise in 6 weeks

We are long time DVC members but never took a cruise. I am a planner but now find myself in uncharted waters. 6 weeks to set everything up.

Can you help with the adult dinning options. This trip is me 60 and wife 59. The wine and cocktails events are sold out, do they every open up more space when you arrive ?

Any suggestions for The Bahamas, we have been to the Atlantis any sightseeing you would recommend.

I am signed up for the late seating. I have helped so many over the years and feel like the guy who walks in MK on Christmas with no plan and wanting to make a dinner reservation.

Well, there are 3 restaurants that are part of the dinner dining rotation that you will get to experience automatically if you don't do anything. I am not sure what ship you are on or I could give you more info for each one.

There is also an adults only restaurant called Palo that will be on board. If there are no openings, you can go to Palo once your board and try to get a reservation. This restaurant serves dinner and some times one day of brunch.

Depending on the ship, there could also be an adult only option called Remy. A very upscale fine dining experience that usually isn't sold out and should be available for booking if you are on the Dream.

The adult restaurants charge a premium to eat there but we feel it is worth it. Your first time you may want to just experience the main dining rooms and menus to get a taste of what DCL dining is like and save the adult options for your next cruise.

Overwhelmed

They will open up more alcohol tasting events on board, and some of the sold out ones may also gain spaces from cancellations. When you first get your paper "Navigator" when you check in, it will tell you where to go to sign up for them.

It is a good idea to see what sorts of things are available so you can decide what you might be interested in, but you don't HAVE to plan in all in advance.
