Ok, I am going to get my mother and father to apply for the Disney Visa through a link that I saved to get the $100 gift card after thier first purchase.
On this link it states that I need a six digit key code on there that states it is somewhere on the advertisement. I suppose I really need that to get the gift card. Can't figure out where it is. Help. Has anyone out there applied for this lately and gotten thier $100 gift card. Any problems. They are like me and have great credit and this will be an easy 200 bucks for our trip. TIA.

I left the code blank and didn't have any problems getting the $100 gift card. My DS and DDIL didn't have any trouble either.

Didn't need a code for my $100 gift card deal, just used a link from another dis member. Recieved my $100 gift card right after my first purchase.

Hmmm, this is interesting! Could my DD19 apply for a card and then I'd get a $100 gift card from disney visa, and even if she has the same address as I do? How does this work as in them knowing I'm the one who gets the gift card?

Is this a special you have to go through? Or does anyone who applies for a card now get $100 gc after the first purchase? I am interested in getting a card anyhow!

Thanks!:dance3:

There is a code that Disney Visa gives to current holders if they refer a new card holder. I gave my husband the code and I received $25 Disney Dollars while my husband reveived the $100 giftcard. Disney Visa also has had other offers using the code. Kind of a Win Win just like the Pass along card that Disney had a few months ago.

Is it possible for someone to pm me the link? I would love to take advantage of this deal for our upcoming trip by referring my hubby!

Thanks,
Val

We got the link while signed on as an AP holder on WDW website. That's the only place I saw it, but I think others have found it elsewhere

Any chance you could post what you did to get the code? Did he sign up first and say you referred him and then they gave a code? Or can I find the code somewhere on my bill or online at my account and then give it to someone and they sign up then? Any help you can give is appreciated!! Can you use the $100 gift card anywhere, say as in saving till our vacation in Jan, lol? TIA :goodvibes

How long after your first purchase did it take to get the GC? I found a link to sign up for the card. I got it and made a purchase. Just wondered when I should expect the card to come.

Thanks!

The code was on coupons I received from Disney Visa about 2 years ago with an 8 digit Cardmember ID on them. I had to give the coupon (that had a validation number on it for the other person to give when applying) to another person. Once approved and the other person used the Credit Card, they got a $25 gift card and I got $25 Disney Dollars. The $100 giftcard offer had a referral space as well, so when my husband applied, he put my Cardmember ID on it and I got the $25 disney dollars and he got the $100 giftcard. Not sure if Disney Visa is still giving the referral bonus, but if the ID number is on your monthly stmt, give it to whoever is opening the new Disney Visa and have them either give it over the phone or enter it in the referral code section on the online application. It can't hurt to put it in. At the time my husband applied (about 8 months ago) I wasn't sure if the bonus Disney Dollars offer was still out there, but it was. This $100 giftcard link was in the AP section of WDW site as well as inserts received when we got the Monitor. There was a place to put a referral number and that's where my husband put my Cardmember ID number. The cardmember ID is on your monthly Disney Visa Stmt (mine is at least) You can use the giftcard anyplace in WDW, or anyplace like online Disney. I have used the gift card in both. Supposedly you can use it to purchase anything Disney. It's a REGULAR giftcard not like those merchandise giftcards that WDW sometimes has.

My husband got his about 2 or so weeks after the first purchase. So did my son.

I don't see a place on the application for my Cardmember ID to be put in. I guess I won't get the refer a friend money. (Or refer a parent in my case.)

I would call the application in then, or just put it in as a referral. You can Call Disney Visa and see if the offer is still available. Like I said just a thought when my husband applied and I got it. It was on the online application through the AP link for a bank referral and I put my referral number in there. Call Disney visa though, it can't hurt

Thanks for the detailed answer, appreciate it! Guess we'll keep an eye out and see when this will work for us at some time, hopefully we'll some reward dollars and a gift card! :)

You're welcome!! My husband really didn't want the card that much since I do have one, but when I saw the $100 free gift card plus my $25 in Disney Dollars, he didn't pass on it any more!! To be honest, I couldn't believe it until I saw that $100 gift card in the mail!
