Help! Will We Have Enough Time?

Our family of 6 is staying at CBR May 24 - 29 (Memorial Day is Departure Day). We originally were going to drive down so I had no worries about making a 10:20 ADR at O'Hana before we left for home. However, I found a great deal on airfare and now we are flying. Our flight leaves at 3:15 so we will have to be back at CBR to catch DME about noon.

We have never been to O'Hana and I was looking forward to the experience, however, I'm concerned that we will be tight on time to finish eating and get back to TTC to catch a bus back to CBR to be on time for our DME ride to the airport. I was just going to try to push the ADR back a little but there are no earlier O'Hana ressies available.

So, all of this to say, I am seeking input on whether to:
A) Cancel the ADR all together and just relax that morning (keeping in mind that food and shopping at CBR will be closed during our stay)

or B) Try to find an alternate breakfast at an earlier time. (We will have an available park ticket for this day)

TIA for any thoughts or comments!!

I'm going to say you won't make it, not even close.
Ohana is notorious for running late. I think you stand a decent chance of not even being at your table and getting food till 11:00
I'd be stressed the entire morning, from getting up and out on check out day, bags stored, getting to Poly (resort to resort is nightmarish without using Uber) to getting seated, done and back to CBR in time to get bags and be in position for ME by noon.

I agree with @AngiTN . You wont make it, Ohana is always late and frankly you'd probably be stressed the whole time anyway. Not worth it. Keep trying for an earlier ADR (even check the night before!). Or just chill out at the resort that morning.

Might be more stressful than it is worth. So if you have an extra park ticket for this day then i would consider hitting a park at rope drop - you will probably only have a couple of hours. Maybe Epcot because it is a little closer to CBR. flower and garden is going on, but i don't think the outdoor kitchens open until 11, which is when you should be heading back to your resort. any way to change to a later flight?

Another option you have is to use the resort check in if your airline participates and take care of checked luggage and checking in before you leave for Ohana. Go to O'hana with your carry on bags and then just grab a cab when you are done with breakfast. If you have too many carry ons to comfortably sit at a table with them, then leave them at bell services and just make sure you leave CBR around 1pm to get to the airport. The cab will be about 70-90 depending on who you use so that is up to you if that makes it worth it to eat at O'hana.

Or Uber/Lyft. It's about half that

I was thinking the exact same thing!

It's totally fine to do this, and you can have your relaxing breakfast.

Use Uber or Lyft though - much cheaper. Since you have 6, Uber XL will work. Or if you don't care for using that, get a van taxi - they are always right nearby!

One more vote for "nope". So sorry...I've been in a similar circumstance and it's hard to let go of a desired reservation. I don't know if I'd chance such a tight ride to the airport (even with Uber/ Left) and TSA security in Orlando on a holiday weekend. Sometimes security is really backed up during busier times. That's just me, but just wanted you to consider the security checkpoint part.
