We are booked at the GF, Sugar Loaf conceirge, and MAY have to cancel and re-book a regular room, either at GF or another Deluxe. We don't want to, but something has come up that may force us to.

If we do have to switch, will they cancel the PS's we made with the concerige itinerary planer? I just want to know if I'll have to call Dinning right away and re-book everthing (if I can!).

Thanks!

As far as I'm aware, having CM's create ADR's for you is a part of Concierge level, but the ADR's aren't a part of your room res. If you asked if you couldn't go on the AK safari, I'd say yes. But I don't think your ADR's have anything to do with your room at all.

I figured I'd have to cancel the Safari (which is fine, I've got NO problem with that!!!) but I just wanted to make sure they wouldn't cancel the PS's. And if they did, I still wouldn't be mad at Disney (it's not their fault, afterall). I just wanted to be prepared to call Dinning if I had to.

Thanks!

When we made our ADRs the CM made it clear that the ressies were tied to our room reservation. That may be because we're a Grand Gathering group, but my impression is that that's the rule for everyone.

I have the same understanding as Goofy4, that the ADR's are tied to your existing room reservation. As that will change and pre-booking assistance is a concierge benefit, I can understand if they do need to release them. To be on the safe side, I think you should call the IPO department and find out from them exactly how it will be handled. Hopefully, you'll be able to get them back on your own if they are cancelled.

I agree w/ the previous 2 posters...the ADRs are made w/ the room reservation. Last year I was able to get an AP rate and cancelled my original rack rate reservation. I was in frequent communication w/ the IPO via email and informed them of the new reservation and they were able to secure my ADRs.
Good Luck
