Help!!! Wilderness lodge

Hi everyone i am from the UK and am due to stay at Wilderness Lodge this Oct. After hearing lots of talk of construction please advise me! Do i stay and wait or try and swap resorts now?...

I'm also staying there this October, and have had heard of no new construction starting between now and then. The major work on the feature pool is finished now.

I heard rumors of a possible DVC expansion on the beach area, but is don't think the main lodge will be affected. Also, the pool was just updated, so that will not be an issue. I think you will be fine. It's our favorite resort. Have a great trip!

I just searched construction at the lodge and I can't find any....does anyone know about this?

Hi, yes its the DVC expansion i have been hearing, also building a new restaurant and expanding small pool,these are the plans iv heard about. I do hope yr right im so looking forward to staying here...

I agree with the other posters - there is a good thread with pictures overlapping the projected work, but since the pool and the main lodge won't be affected, I think you'll be fine with your October stay

we are concerned as well about our Dec 2015 stay and VWL. They have lots of work to do much of it fronting the water / beach. It looks like the actual inside of the lodge portion by feature pool should be ok.
