Help. Which resort would your choose?

I am planning a trip to Disney on June 8th using the 25% sale that is running. I originally booked BWI but noticed construction notices and lack of parking on the Disney website. Since I'm driving down there I would prefer to self park and not have to use Valet parking. This morning I switched to AKL.

My question is, do you think construction will still be going on at BWI in June. I know the Flying Fish will still be having worked done. Not sure how this will effect the resort.

I would have moved to AKL as well.

I don't know the answer to the construction at BWI, but if there are notices of construction at BWI I would stay at the AKL. WE never stay at a resort under construction. been there, done that.

AKL is an awesome resort and is great if you have a car.

We are staying at BWI in June. They are doing exterior work and are still renovating the villas, which won't affect the BWI side of the resort. We stayed at BWV in December and got a very similar letter regarding villa renovation. We never heard a sound. We've also stayed at Poly during construction and BCV during renovations. We simply put an "away from construction" request on our reservation and we've never been disappointed.

BWV is completing a soft goods refurb. There is some ongoing work on amenities on the Boardwalk itself.

AKL Jambo and Kidani are both undergoing soft goods returb as well. So i don't know that by moving there you have somehow avoided any noise or disturbance.

If you are set on moving from BW and have a car, DAKL is a great choice. Easy parking and a fun resort to be at. OKW is good if you're interested in larger rooms. Beach club would be a solid alternative to BW

We love the BC but it sold out during the time we would be going.
