Help! Which Deluxe and why?

Looking for ideas and help. We are planning a trip for first week of Dec 2006. Cast of characters would be me, DH, DD9, DS6, DD5 (at time of trip). Our last trip was on a budget so we stayed POR but had problems with bus issues so DH vowed our next trip would be a monorail hotel.

So, looked into Poly, CR and GF. MK Tower View only avail at CR (?!), Garden View at Poly and GF. My head is spinning trying to decide. We stayed at Poly 5 yrs ago and have never stayed at CR or GF. I'm truly frugal at heart so the POR price is much more attractive but I'm trying to fight it and splurge.

Any thoughts?

Boy do I feel your pain I just got done for the past two days struggling with a similar decision. We have always stayed at the AKL and POR but this time my DH will be using a ECV and I was torn on what to do as far as lodging. After much thought we just made our reservations for the Poly Garden View room. Hopefully we won't be sorry. This is totally unsettling after using the same hotel AKL for the past 4 stays, the past 4 years.

if dollars are an issue stay at the contemporary-garden view almost $100 less per nite than poly garden view. we leave next week-poly garden view-my kids begged for poly so I coughed up the extra $500 or so. My kids are 17, 16 & 14-they think they can pull rank-I guess they did. We also stayed at poly -gv xmas 2002. we loved it.

I vote for the poly. That's my favorite deluxe resort. Although, I do agree with you...POR is wonderful too. I stayed there last year but this trip (10/06) we're "going for the gusto" and doing the Poly instead! It will be an amazing trip!

Good luck with your choice...you may have to put them all in a hat and pick one!

The only experience I had with deluxe is CR Tower Club and CR Garden Wing and we loved this resort, however, we are staying at GF in December so I'm going to throw in a vote for that, we have always wanted to stay here and I cannot wait! I hope I made the right choice because I just gave up our BC for it!

All are great, especially the monorail convenience. Financially, the cost would be CR wing, Poly garden, CR Tower/ GF garden. We have done all (tower next week) and love the spaciousness of all. I have to say of all of those deluxes the only one that has upgraded us (both times) was the GF. SO if you're hoping for additional pixie dust.............. Any way you pick I think you'll be pleased. ENJOY!

Yes, they are all great. My vote would be for the Poly. I love the relaxing atmosphere as you walk around the grounds and the covenience of the monorail. That's where we're going next week! Good luck with your decision.

My vote is for the Wilderness Lodge. its beautiful and cozy great themeing and very romantic
