My friend and I are going for 10 days in April but are having a little trouble on deciding on a place to stay. Out of the list below does anyone have any reviews on any of the places.

1. Carousel Inn & Suites - traditonal w/ 2 queen beds
2. Cortona Inn & Suites - deluxe double queen room
3. Travelodge International Inn - Two queens, non smoking
4. Best Western Stovall's Inn - standard room

Are any of these places better that others??
Thanks
Mel

I've never stayed at any of those, but why not the Howard Johnson? They have nice rooms, great staff and if you can get the Ent Rate that can't be beat. They may not have the rates available for April yet though. Personally I'd rather stay closer so my choices are (in order of preference)

Howard Johnson
Candy Cane Inn
Tropicana
Best Western Park Place Inn

Our family lovesto stay at the Park Vue inn. It is right across the street from the east end of te park. Easy walk and next to an IHOP. You will be home before the guest will get to the Disneyland Hotel. Cost is reasonable during non peak season.

if you have little ones and a stroller, you might want to rethink the park vue inn. i've heard decent things about this place, but they don't have an elevator. it's only 2 stories, but that alone was enough for me to look elsewhere. i didn't want to have to carry my 8 month old dd and a double stroller up a flight of stairs. i know i could have requested a room on the 1st floor, but that isn't even guaranteed.

Of your choices, here's my personal order of preference:

1. Carousel Inn & Suites - traditonal w/ 2 queen beds
Right across the street, and despite some of the reviews, I'd stay here before the others
3. Travelodge International Inn - Two queens, non smoking
Economy hotel, and just about the same distance from the parks as Cortona (maybe tiny bit farther) or Stovalls
2. Cortona Inn & Suites - deluxe double queen room
Decent moderate property, on Harbor Blvd, which is nice & "touristy" with several restaurants in the general area. Bit of a walk, & might want to use ART
4. Best Western Stovall's Inn - standard room
Decent moderate property, but on the "back side" of California Adventure and a bit of a walk to the parks (might want to use ART)

I am a huge fan of the Tropicana Inn and Suites as its close, free continental breakfast, decent pool and the staff is really friendly.... Ive also stayed at the Carousel Inn and Suites and things were constantly stolen from my hotel room. Big fight to get it back. I wouldnt recommend that place to anyone.
