HELP Where to eat out of the 3.

Okay my travel agent just emailed me my adr's. I was thinking 50's prime time lunch or dinner. I need it to be early enough to get to Fantasmic on March 4th. She got Mama Melrose fantasmic pkg. I don't know much about this place. So stick with MM, try to get 50's maybe lunch or leave and go to Spoodles or DTD. This is our only DHS day so do we need to stay in the park to get it all done? Oh yeah I told the TA that lunch would be fine for 50's so is it really all booked all day?

So I need HELP? Thanks.

We like Mama Melrose's...we've done the Fantasmic Package here the last year years (and you get the appetizer with the Fantasmic Package). However, if you don't think it will be that crowded that you need the Fantasmic Package, and really want to eat at 50's Prime Time, then change it to a late lunch (I don't know what time Fantasmic shows...and remember it is no longer a nightly thing). We've never done Spoodles--but are going next year for sure.

We did the MM Fantasmic pkg in December. We loved both. The food at MM is good especially the Chicken parm and gelato. It was nice not to have to wait in line. We were there at a busy time and people were packed like sardines on the one side whil we just kind of casually walked up and grabbed great seats.

I'm actually hoping for MM Fantasmic package but need ADR in April so I'm impatiently waiting for the dates to open up....if I can't get MM should I consider Spoodles or stick with a HS table service? We'll be there the week before Easter if that matters.

I would take the boat next to MGM and go anywhere at boardwalk or yacht and beach club.

Unfortunately we have only done Mama Melrose. My GF likes it and she makes the ADR's, so that is where we eat. I'm doing captain's grill in 2 weeks( hope that is good as the menu looks). One thing to consider is they supposedly don't do the fantasmic package every night now. That is what the CM told me when i tried to book it for our November trip. Hope you are able to get it.

We have ate at Mamma Melrose several times and have really enjoyed it I would keep your ADR especially with Fantasmic only being shown a few nights a week next year.

I'm probably in the minority, but I don't like MM, I much prefer 50s, BUT I don't think they do the Fantasmic Package.

THANKS for the suggstions so far. Keep them coming. I don't think I care too much for MM menu. But I am always willing to give it a try.

I have been looking at the Boardwalk. Flying Fish and Spoodles both look pretty good. Flying Fish looks fairly upscale would park attire be appropriate or would we need to change. About how long would it take to get to the Boardwalk from DHS. And if you wonderful folks could give me you opinion of the 2 rest. Oh yeah they are both on DDP right?

We had a fabulous meal at Mama Melrose in August so I would say keep it. And as others have mentioned you even get an appetizer on the Fantasmic Dinner package which is great if you are on the Dining Plan.

We have eaten at all of those locations and would pick SPOODLES! The food is superior.

The Fantasmic package is a nice addition. We have always had great meals at Mama Melrose, like spoodles too. I am not blown away by 50's food, but the rest. itself is cute and has a fun atmosphere. If it were me, I'd keep Mama Melrose.
