Hello,

Can ya all give us some advice as to where to eat lunch (reasonable priced):

1) Animal Kingdom
2) Magic Kingdom
3) MGM
4) Epcot
5) Universal Studios
6) Adventure Island
7) Seaworld

We will be touring the areas mentioned above.

Thanks for your help

AK- If you are spending the day here I suggest you buy the vouchers offered. They are $10.99 for adults and $5.99 for kids and can be bought at either guest services or the restaurants themselves. It is a 3 part voucher. First part is for one entree plus beverage at most of their counter service locations, second part is valid for an ice-cream or pop-corn, and third section is for a bottle water- Great value.

MK- Here we love Peco's bills. Great fixin's bar.

Epcot-We pick something around world show case. I love the fish and chip place in Britian and my girls share a meal from the counter service area in China.

MGM- For sit down we like 50's prime time- big portions, and for counter service we usually stop at Rosies. I also think that Toy Story Pizza Planet is a good deal. Good size pizza and salad combo- enough for 2.

Universal- Make sure if you belong to CAA you show your card for 10%off. Here we like the Monster cafe.

IOA- my fav here is Circus Mckurkis.

Never been to Sea world.

Happy eating.

I agree, Peco's Bill is an excellent place to eat. It's near Pirates of the Caribbean and Splash Mountain.

Thanks for the tips on the other places to eat.
Down to four months and counting.

My grandkids have already started marking it off on the calendar. But September seems such a long way away. :sad1:
I think the planning part is almost as much fun as the going(geez can't believe I just said that!!). I have binders for my grankids full of Disney stuff, crayons, games etc. for the long drive down.

The Tomorrow Noodle Station at MK has great food for a low price. Some ent
rees can be shared for people with smaller appetites. At AK I like Flame Tree BBQ.

At AK get the meal vouchers which give you a meal + drink and two additional coupons for a popcorn or ice cream treat and a drink. I recommend the ribs at the Flame Tree BBQ. They're quite the tasty treat :)

In Epcot, check out the Tangerine Cafe in Morocco ... their portions are definitely big enough to share. Beaches and Cream is also in the Epcot area (in the Beach Club Resort) and they've got the best burgers and ice cream sundaes on property. If you get a double burger, you can ask them to split it for you.

In MK, I like Pecos Bill ... You can get a double burger and order an extra bun for $0.80 for sharing. The chicken wraps area also pretty big. If you want more food, take a short boat trip to Fort Wilderness. They have a lunch buffet for $10.99/person which I've heard is pretty good (never been there myself).

HTH :)

Well here are my picks..
Epcot--China--they have a wonderful counter service resturant-good portions-good prices!
MK-I have to vote for Peco Bills as well (although the Noodle place is now on my list)
AK- Handsdown-do the voucher deal at the Flame Tree-what a bargain and we love the food!
MGM-The Commisary!

I always bring munchies for in between like Pringles, BitsnBites, granola bars, fruit roll ups etc... as it always seems there are sooo many treats to tempt you in the parks and it can add up in a hurry. I am telling you this because I find all the places to eat on the expensive side and it can all add up very quickly. I don't think you are supposed to bring in food and I don't picnic or anything but I have seen tons of people doing the same with munchies. It just stretches that food dollar a little further making it ok to splurge on higher priced park food for lunch or dinner.

One other thing I use to do was bring in bottled water but I think they've since adjusted the price to $2/bottle. When it's hot, my DBF and I go thorough a lot of bottled water. The water from the fountains was ... not so good. For one... it was warm and it had that sulfury taste to it. Even when I got water from counter service places (which is always free), it still had a taste to it (but at least it was cold :)). I've heard that the Brita sport bottles are good at filtering the taste but I never wanted to carry the bottle with me. Another thing I tried for filtering the water was carrying around packs of Crystal Light or Kool-Aid ... that made the water taste a little bit better :)

We always tried to eat at a sit down for lunch(ish) because the prices are better and you get dinner portions. Then we had pizza later(or some such)
Our favorite was Teppanyaki at Epcot
MK we liked cosmic rays cause of the lounge alien
