Can anyone help by naming a few things you'd take in your suitcase excluding clothes and tickets :)
TIA

I wouldn't put my tickets in the suitcase, they always go in the carry on.

Shoes and toiletries along with clothes and phone charger/ adapter tor - that's about it.

EARS :) i never go to disney w/o my ears; magic bands, jewlery, sunglasses, sunscreen, purse, advil, bandaids, makeup.

in carry on:
-change of clothes (we learned that one the hard way),
-charger for iphone
-adapter for charger (to fit in US electric plug)
-itinerary with all reservation numbers written down
-print outs of all reservation confirmations (i keep this in a multipocket file so i have it all organized)
-print out of travel insurance (including policy number and emergency phone number)
-"cheat sheet" with all important phone numbers and emergency contacts
-prescription and over the counter medicine (including ibuprofin, otrivin spray, cough syrup, biofine for burns, various antibiotics: augmentin, cefuroxime, Azithromycin),
-thermometer,
-bandaids,
-sunglasses,
-Q-tips
-dental floss/travel size toothpaste/toothbrush
-sea bands
-hair brush
-hair gel (small amount permissible in carry on)
-headphones
-scrunchies for my hair
-DH's electric shaver
-etc etc

passports of course go into my purse....along with credit cards and cash and another cheat sheet and itinerary

Hi

We stay off site but I guess wherever you stay (and this is the UK Forum) I'd take TEA BAGS

Regards

Paul

I had to laugh at the tea bags as we always take them and declare them at customs just in case and they always just laugh at us (crazy British obviously) and wave us through! :rotfl2:
I also take a multi pocket file with all the print outs in usage order as firstly another fun part of the planning and secondly makes me feel a bit more secure as chief organiser!
Can I just ask do people take hair mousse in their main hold luggage? For some reason I've always thought you can't and brought it over there but now I think I've got it wrong :confused3:goodvibes

you can take it in your luggage, but not in carry on..
but we tend to buy all the messy hair care products there..
i'm always worried they'll leak and get all over everything..
so on arrival day we make a run to walgreens to buy everything..

thanks for all your replies, insurance docs forgot that one

Hi

Reading this I guess we take all of the paperwork mentioned, as a back up however I use OneNote and each year I setup a Notebook with separate section for everything in the order we would use or need them. So a section for Airport parking confirmation, ESTA, Fights, Lodgings, Disney etc etc. As I book and receive conformation emails for each part of the trip, I save them to the Notebook under each named section, I even photo our passports and store them in the same Notebook.

I store this NoteBook on OneDrive (Google drive would also do) and using the phone app I have all the information I'm ever likely to need in the Cloud ready if I ever need it. It's got me out of a hole a couple of times over the years.

I also do a yearly one for flights (we go to Spain a lot) this was after booking flights twice for the same dates as I'd forgot that I'd already done it .. not doing that again :-)

Hope this helps if anyone needs more info just ask.

Regards

Paul

in addition to the printouts, i have all documents stored in my gmail as attachments that i can access from my iphone..
i have my gmail filed by subject, so it's easy to find anything i need..
