Help! What Can I Do?

Ok, so here's the deal. I ordered some stuff from JcPenny's Online, received it and the shorts don't fit right, too long. So I sent them back. Fast forward 3 weeks and they still haven't received it nor have I received my refund. I knew I should have insured it but I just didn't think such a big box would get lost. I still have the receipt from where I mailed the thing. I just don't know what to do know or what I can do. Any suggestions? I just don't want to lose $80 worth of clothes and $7 I paid sending it back.

how did you mail it? USPS? If so go back with your receipt and maybe they can help you. I have used JC penney many times and will tell ya that their warehouse is very screwed up! It's so large that things get lost often. Although their customer service is pretty good. If you can't get anywhere with the post office I would explain your situation with jC Penney. They may help you out. good luck
 

Amazon.com did this with an item I sent back the first of Jan. They never credited my account and wouldn't answer any of my emails - which is the only way you can contact them.

In late April I emailed them again and threatened to call the Better Business Bureau - I had an email from them within hours telling me that my account had been credited!

I would suggest trying this method in your case.
