Help - we need a middle name!

Julia Anne - would make your mom very happy - I like names that have family meaning in them. After all when they are gone it's nice to carry the name with you.

First of all, GREAT choice-it's the prettiest name in the world, in my admittedly biased opinion..
My daughter Julia's middle name is Lindsey, which I'll admit doesn't really go, since we have a L last name, but it was my Gram's last name and naturally my Mom's maiden name, so I had chosen it for a middle name for my future daughter when I was about 12 and never wavered.

I like Julia Grace. Pretty, feminine,strong.

My family and my husbands family(and our two children) all have middle names that mean something-we were all named after a beloved relative for our middles so if you have any names liek that, I think it is a wonderful tradition.

I really wouldn't worry about what her initials spell- no one will notice. My sister was G.A.S., then she got married. Now they are G.A.G. I just don't think initials are a big enough worry to factor in, especially if you like the name Anne.

My maiden initials were also GAS, I hated it, kids DO notice those things. I had a friend who's name was Amy Sue and her last name started with an S (to form a word I can't type here).

I know a Julia Kay and she is a very nice little girl. I love the name Julia.

Ok - I am due in late February and we are expecting a girl.
We have the first name figured out...but can not get the middle name!
Her first name will be Julia and our last name starts with a R.

My mom wants her middle name to be Ann (that's my mom's middle name) but then Julia's initials would be J.A.R. I don't think so! Plus my mom keeps pushing us to name her that - it is soooooo annoying!

Anyway - to the point of this thread...any great suggestions for middle names?

I do like my first name but I think Julia Stefanie sounds a little funny.
