Help! We can't decide on a name!

Well, your poll didn't let me pick both a boy's name AND a girl's name. So I picked Lilliana for the girl. Very cute name. I really hate to say it, but I don't care for either Kaleb or Isaak. If I had to pick it would be Isaak, I guess because I knew a Kaleb who was a real brat!

I think of their names as they get older and become adults. And also nicknames that can come with a name.

I knew a girl who liked the name Leaha(not sure of the spelling), but didn't
choose it. Because in school she will get teased " Lay a Leaha". I know it sounds wierd!!

I liked Caleb when I was pg but dh said no way. I think the C is better than the K. I tend to like traditional names so Ellie is prettier imo than the other which I've never seen before. As an aside, think about them as adults and if any of the names sound too 'young'. My friend's name is Eileen Claire and she's a nighttime DJ calling herself E.Claire now. It fits her, lol.

Definitely sounds strange especially with those first names. I am hoping you have a girl! I love Liliana Claire. It is a beautiful name and sounds so nice together. I don't think it sounds strange at all! Linn could be a family name or maiden name. I know a woman who chose her maiden name as her son's middle name, which is Grey.

I am curious why you chose great old testament names for the boy....but then changed the spelling? My son would have been named Caleb, I love the name. So, i vote for Caleb and Ellie, but i would spell Caleb the traditional way and save your son a lot of hassle!

Yes, please dump the K's. This reminded me of something from high school. There was a kid named "Kristoffer." I'm sure his parents thought they were being cool when they named him but he was never called "Kris"--he was always called "Kris with a K," which was always said with a lisp. Don't forget how mean other kids can be. You don't want your son to be known as "Kaleb with a K."

I chose Ellie & Kaleb. But from someone with experience please consider to spell Kaleb in the traditional Caleb. It is really a pain in the bu** to have to spell your name EVERY SINGLE TIME you give it to someone other wise it is always wrong.
