Help w/ Internet Explorer 07

We just installed Internet Explorer 07 & now I cannot email a photo stored in my desktop, & also cant upload a desktop photo to my sell option in ebay, any DIS experts know what could be causing this?

Do you have a firewall running? If so, check the settings. IE may be blocked.

We had huge problems when we loaded IE7. I don't know what causes it exactly (something to do with a firewall). We finally gave up and reloaded IE6.

I had problems too but this fixed it for me. Click on start,in the right column you'll see: Set program access and defaults. Click on that and then click on the bubble that says Microsoft Windows. I have to do this from time to time but at least it works and hopefully it will work for you too.

Thanks for the replies, I tried the suggestions ,they were really good ones, but didn't work...

my computer shuts down the window Im in when I try to "send" a photo off my desktop, or when I try to upload a photo to ebay...

I am ready to throw my computer out the window into the 6 degree air/ I hate this IE7!!!!!!


On a lighter note, my BIL who has been trying to help me fix this is loving how helpful the DIS is

If you want to try a great browser, get Firefox.

IE7 is substantially more secure than IE6. Many potential exploits have been eliminated. In some cases, older web sites were using those exploits to deliver their functionality. So it could be that the problem is with the website you're trying to use.
