Hi all, thinking of taking the DVC wonder cruise in February w/ DH and DD who is four. We have never cruised Disney before so I have no clue what to expect. A major question for me is what is the differance between a "navigator" vertandah and a "verandah"? Any help, opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Kim

I have pics of a Navigator Verandah stateroom on the Wonder <a href="http://www.primateprojections.com/travel/DCL/7628/">HERE</A>.

Thanks so much Taswire, that looks beautiful. Is there room on the "deck" for a family of three? I noticed from these boards that some verandahs are covered by plexiglass? Is this one of them? How was your view and location. When I make ressies would it be worth it to request this room? thanks for help, kim

7628 is my favorite on the Wonder. The Navigator Verandah, as you can see, is enclosed except for the big open porthole (no glass). The cushioned bench is comfortable, as is the cushioned chair. It has a wooden table slightly larger than the one on the regular verandahs (which have a smaller table and two chairs - no cushions). I like the comfort and atmosphere of this verandah, and the fact that even if it gets windy it is shielded enough to sit out there and still enjoy it. However, some people only like totally "open" verandahs. I have had one and prefer the Nav. But the regular verandahs have plexiglass at the bottom, except the one's that are far aft and have metal. You can visit Dave's DCL Tribute site for all the info on that. His site also details the recently discussed "obstructed" views from some staterooms.

Check out Dave from Marietta's tribute site. He lists which cabin #'s have which type of verandas. Also check out Barb & Tony's site. They show pics of the verandas.
