HELP. Vinyl wall decal problem...

I've done these before and have no problems, but I bought a decal yesterday at Ben Frandlin to put on a glass block for a gift and could not get the decal to transfer from the base paper to the "tracing paper" (don't know what else to call that see thru piece of paper). I returned it and bought another this morning and am having the SAME problem. Any thoughts on what I can do to get the words to transfer to the darn tracing paper??? I tried the wet sponge yesterday and that did nothing. TIA!

It goes from the base paper to the glass block not a tracing paper. The tracing paper keeps it from transferring to anything before you want it to.

Not possible with the one I bought. In order for it not to be backwards, it has to be on the "tracing paper" which then gets put on the glass block to transfer to that. If it's on the base paper, it will be backwards
