Help - UY and Borrowing

Okay, so it’s late and I’m tired.

1. I can borrow points from a Sept 2021 UY for a March 2021 trip, correct?

2. Also - I can borrow points from a Sept 2022 UY for a December 2021 trip?

I agree. You can borrow points from whatever the NEXT use year is, for any reservation in the Previous Use Year, where the year of the reservation is the year right before those (borrowed) points.

Easiest way I think to help. Figure out UY of trip. Once you know that, you can pay for it with banked Points from the UY prior to trip, points from the UY of the trip. And borrow from the UY after the trip.

So, March 2021 trip: is in your Sept 2020;UY, so banked 2109, 2020, and borrowed 2021 UY points can be used,

Dec 2021 trip is in your Sept 2021 UY...thst means banked 2020, 2021 , and borrow 2022 UY points can be used.

2. Also - I can borrow points from a Sept 2022 UY for a December 2021 trip? Yes, borrowing the 2022 UY points into 2021 would be good from September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022.

What UY is the trip in? You can borrow from the following UY, or bank from the previous UY.

11 month window etc does not matter

Figure out the UY, add 1, subtract 1, and that year are the 3 years points you can potentially use.
