Help us spend $1,000,000!!

You could rent the Grand Villa (or whatever it's called) at Boardwalk or Beach Club?
Sponsor a contest that everyone in your school district who achieves at a certain level gets an all-expense-paid trip to WDW.

Definitely rent an entire park....open it up only for Make-a-Wish children (and, for a change, terminal adults, too).

Do the cruise (best suite)/park combo.

Buy vouchers from each of the sit-down restaurants and randomly hand them out to people in the park who look like they need some pixie dust.

Pay for a pizza to be delivered to each apt. (wherever it is) that CMs live while working at WDW.

Try to upgrade everyone who is staying at a Disney resort by at least one level (up to the next level of resort or from standard to concierge)

Keep thinking!

I was going to suggest tht she invite children & their families who could not afford to go to WDW ever! She could decide what criteria she would use to select the families. Similar to a few other responses.

I agree with others who've said their kids have done this assignment. Our DD did it last fall (yes, it was "Everyday Math") and it was not as easy as it sounds! I believe she went with Disney Paris via Virgin Atlantic (large group, many days, etc) but also added many extras. Have fun!

Invite a local girlscout troop to celebrate the day in Disney with your daughter have breakfast with Cinderella that will clean you out of about a grand in 45 minutes, not including enterance to the park.

This is such a fun project! My son did it a few years ago. He didn't do disney though. He took like 10 people to see a game at every hockey arena in Canada and the US. His included 1st class air fare, limos, game tickets, souvenirs, and then 2 outings at each city. He didn't spend the entire 1 million but came very very close.

Good luck on the project. :cheer2:

This is a long thread and i did not read each response so sorry if this has already been said, so first you can fly first class for the family, include the entire family if you like, instead of staying at the c level buy all your weeks of time share-no that will spend all your money, never mind that one-lol-stay at the most expensive room, get the rooms connected then at night everyone can have privacy, bisit every place in orland, disney, universal, ioa, seaworld, bg
now if you want to do it qucik just rent our the park for 2 or three hours

Take me and my family with you.

We'd like to stay in the Presidential suite at the YC, until the money is gone

If you've got the money honey, we've got the time.

:rotfl2:  Offer 200,000$ a week to stay at the apartment inside the castle! i know i'm wishful thinking :rotfl2:

:rotfl: You guys are great!! Ok, here's what she did. She took 25 people to WDW for a month, booking 12 rooms at the GF. Everyone got massages frequently, went on all the tours numerous times, all the "special" stuff Disney offers. She bought everyone a new wardrobe at $100,000, and gave everyone $5,000 for souveneirs. She tipped the CM's very well. At the end of the month, she took everyone on the Disney cruise, and of course, everyone flew 1st class, and she rented 12 cars for everyone to have at their disposal once they arrived. She didn't specify a restaurant, but budgeted everyone $250 per day for food. It didn't quite add up to $1,000,000, but it was close! Thanks for all the help!!! :flower:

So where do we sign up to be one of her 25 guests? :rotfl:

If I remember correctly :rotfl: a few years ago in the Disney Catalog they had a few pages devoted to "renting" the park for an evening. Something like $250K for the evening!!!

how about a custom vow renewal at magic kingdom for mom & dad. the basic wedding/vow renewal has a minimum of $50,000 there. you could check out info at disneyweddings.com

i could easily spend a $1,000,000 in wdw between the resorts, parks, fancy dinners, tours & recreation.

best of luck to your dd with her project.
