Hello hello, all! :goodvibes

Dbf and I are in need of your help! Out of the following (and only the following), where should we go to for dinner?

I should point out that boyfriend is picky, he likes any meat and any type of starch but no veggies... absolutely no veggies! I like ANYTHING but I'm also a pescetarian (I eat fish and fish based stock).

Okay, the following are the places, in Epcot, where we have not dined in before. Please help us choose:

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Chefs de France
San Angel Inn
Teppan Edo
Tutto Italia

Okay... pick (and thanks)! :wizard:

We really liked Tutto Italia, and my husband had a wonderful fish and mussel dish (which was very unlike him). Their lasagna is very rich, but simple in its ingredients, no veggies with it! You can't beat the beautiful atmosphere and our waiter was so attentive, it felt very special. You have to try the pistachio gelato!

I voted for San Angel Inn. This was my husband's choice for his birthday dinner and I was hesitant--but it was by far a nicer dinner than Chefs de France later that week, both in quality of food and in atmosphere.

If BF is picky I'd suggest consulting the menus to see what each of your selections offer. DH and I are picky too and I have to admit I use the menus from allearsnet.com or here to help us decide where we eat while at WDW.

Good luck! Karen

I voted for Chefs de France. I was in Epcot for a recent business trip, and took in dinner at Chefs de France. It was my first dinner experience at Chefs, after many many visits to Epcot ~ and it was amazing. It is now on my list to return to again. If you do go - have the braised ribs....it should be the signature dish. I have eaten at many of the signatures on property - and my dinner that night was one of my most memorable. :cheer2:

After visiting Disney for 20 years we had our first dinner at Chefs De France last november and it was the best dinner all vacation. I had the beef tenderloin and scalloped potatoes, OMG good. Everyone at the table loved their food and we all ordered different things. Even the kids loved it. A new must do for us!!!

I voted for Chefs. Over the 15 years I've been heading to the world I had never tried Chefs but for my last long stay we finally got up the courage... WHAT HAD I BEEN THINKING. This place was amazing. DH had a huge steak and I had the pork chop. All of the food we ate was cooked perfectly, and the service we had was wonderful!
* Ill give you the tip we were given before making reservations. Try to go on a night that has EMH. Make a late reservation , like 8:45. The restaurant clears out for Illuminations and if you can ask for a window table you can still see the fireworks while enjoying your meal. I've heard it can be crowded and loud in there but there were maybe 20 to 30 people when we enjoyed dinner.

Wow thank you everyone for all of the responses! I think I might try Chefs... although I am, of course, a woman who can't ever make up her mind. If anyone has any objections, I'd like to hear it :thumbsup2

:worship:

We really liked Chefs de France, as well. It was one of our favorite meals this past September. But my DW is really wanting to go back to San Angel Inn for the atmosphere- it's pretty romantic. I wonder if your DH would get fewer veggies there?
