Help us decide Value or Moderate

Well I've been to Disney ~10 times and all of those were either in Moderates or "Buena Vista" style hotels...also "Dad" was paying for those. Anyhow, my wife and I went on our honeymoon to the World in December and stayed at PORFQ. We're planning another trip in August and we're trying to decide whether we should go Value or Moderate.
She says we're hardly ever in the room anyways, so why not save the money. What she really means is, how bad could it be? I made the mistake of getting a room at a "Days Inn" on a separate vacation one time and she freaked out because it was "dirty". So are we going to be okay at a "Value" or not? If so, which one would you suggest?

I read a thread below on ASMO and was disgusted by the "blood and hairs" found on the sheets. So don't hold back, we're not looking for any surprises.

Please help a young Disney Addict who is trying to convert his wife to Disney.

My husband and I are Disney fanatics as well. We have never stayed at a value resort. We have always stayed at moderate resorts. The bus rides from value resorts is very long. Convenience for us is everything. I think it is absolutely worth the money to have a nicer room so you have an altogether better experience.

If you want to imerse your wife to Disney 24/7, then I would definitely suggest ASMovies or PoP. They are both totally Disney, especially the ASMo.

ASMO has lots of Disney characters larger than life icons from the Disney's animated films such as~ Fantasia.. Toy Story.. Dalmations as well as Love Bug and Mighty Duck. If any of these movies she likes, then she will enjoy the atmosphere here.

PoP has some Disney characters too! Baloo and Mowgli..Mr/Mrs Potato head..and I can't think of what else is there. There's a huge playdough also. This resort will take you back in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Rent a bike and bike along the lake and read some of the facts posted on the signs. BTW, at 6 or 6:30pm, they have a hustle dance at the food court. The CMs dance. I thought that was cool. I wanted to join in, but I was a little bit shy. But I saw a mom and her child who joined in.

I've been to ASMo twice and PoP twice. No hairs or blood found on the floor or on our sheets. We have always had great service and an excellent stay.

I've stayed at CSR and CBR too. I say if you want moderate, go with CSR. It feels like a deluxe though you pay moderate price. I love everything about CSR.
