Just for fun! Your suggestions are welcome.
We will be at WDW 11/28-12/07. We are a family of four with DS10 and DS7.
We have BCV 1BR reservations (on points) 11/29-12/05, so we have to fill in Friday the 28th and also Friday-Saturday the 5th and 6th.
On the 28th (day after Thanksgiving) BCV is out as they want 60(!) points for a 1BR. Here are some options I'm considering:
-- offsite suites such as Holiday Inn Family Suites, Caribe Royale, or Vistana Resort
-- offsite resort hotel such as Marriott World Center, Hyatt Grand Cypress, or Gaylord Palms. Perhaps use Priceline/Hotwire and roll the dice?
-- Fort Wilderness cabin
-- Caribbean Beach
-- Swan/Dolphin so we don't have to move very far (seems pointless though)
For the 5th & 6th, the above are possibilities but we would like to stay at a deluxe. Some thoughts:
-- the Polynesian is our favorite and the frontrunner. Only drawback IMO is that we've stayed there before.
-- BWI
-- Old Key West on either cash or points (we have some banked)
-- AKL concierge w/Sunrise Safari. (So far I'm the only one interested in this.)
