We're a group of 5 including an almost 4 year old girl. This is a birthday celebration for her. We're only going for 3 nights since we're 4 hours away.

Arrival day=DHS. I have considered Sci Fi for lunch when we get to the park or maybe we should just stick to CS this day and go to downtown Disney to eat.

Day 2=Magic Kingdom. I believe I have decided against CRT since it's so expensive/takes 2 TS credits and DD will get princess interaction at Akershus on our Epcot day. Plus, my dad doesn't really want to eat there because of that. This is the one that I hope I don't regret! I just know we'll visit Disney in the future and would like for DD to actually remember the experience.

Day 3=Epcot and the only park I've pretty much decided on for ADR's. I plan to get the earliest available Akershus breakfast slot and then dinner at Coral Reef.

It's such a shame that they take ADR's 6 months in advance because I change my mind a lot :rotfl:.

I know how ya feel about changing minds...

Magic Kingdom has Crystal Palace and Winnie the Pooh and friends

Grand Floridian has Cindy Gala Feast 1ts and really fun and good food.

Disney needs to upgrade the food choices at HS. The Prime Time Cafe was a lot of fun. The fried chicken is very good. Stay away from the meatloaf. My daughter loved the chicken pot pie. We used to go to the ABC Commissary for counter service. They used to have Cuba sandwich that was served with plantain chips. It was delish!!! Unfortunately they took it off the menu. WE were very disappointed. Not sure why they took it off since it was very good and different from your normal choices. If you go to Downtown Disney you should try Wolfgang Puck Express. Great menu, lot's of choices for everyone. The food is very good and they give you a lot of food. For counter service they have great choices at reasonable prices. Especially if you are on the dining plan. It counts as a counter service but it is like a table service restaurant. For Magic Kingdom, I agree with the pp, Crystal Palace is my favorite character meal. Good food.

Crystal Palace for sure:) Great food and great Pooh and friends character interaction:) Enjoy your happy time..build those memories:)

We love Sci Fi at the Studios for lunch.

For your MK day, I would definitely recommend breakfast at Crystal Palace. And I would try to get an 8:05 a.m. ADR so that you can have Main Street almost to yourself. There is nothing better.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm strongly considering both Sci Fi and Crystal Palace. Which would be better, getting DD's hair done at 8AM at BBB and then CP or CP first and then BBB?

Personally, I would do CP first just because you can get some GREAT pictures in front of the castle with no one else there...these are my favorite pics.

We can also get the same pics if we do BBB first and get an 8AM slot. I'm just trying to figure out if my family can wait past 8 to eat :rotfl:

What time do they start doing BBB? We don't have daughters (and they started this way past the time our kids were little)?

I'm pretty sure the first appt is 8AM :). Now I'm actually reconsidering CRT. See, I change my mind a lot! Breakfast is around $40 or so more than CP. Does CRT's breakfast include tip? I thought I read it did, so it would only be about $30 more than CP. I might be able to live with that. So I could do BBB and then CRT for breakfast right after???

^^^ Yup! CRT's prices include the taxes and tip. In addition, the price of CRT includes the photo package with Cinderella and your little princess will get a Fairy wand. ;)

I would choose doing BBB first then CRT.

Can't answer about CRT as we've never done it -- we have two boys who would not have been caught dead eating in a castle. :lmao:

lol, then you're lucky you don't have to decide. Then again, I can honestly say that even if we didn't have a girl, I'd probably want to eat there myself :rotfl:
