Help! Urgent MB question

We're heading to Disney tomorrow and in my haste to get everything done, I tore my husband's magic band and made it the shorter version by accident (I thought it was one of the kids'). I hadn't shortened mine yet. Can he wear mine and I wear his? We have all the same reservations. If not, do we have to get him a gray one at checkin?

As long as the tickets that are linked to your MDE are brand-new and not APs, you can trade MBs with your husband before you enter the parks for the first time. Continue using the same MB after the trade.

And my thought to the PP is if it is an AP then he can just scan it to get into the park with his finger print and they can swap once they get into the park. If they are together at FP+ and the name comes up with question......explain then. I don't recall finger scan after main entrance.
But based on the OP my guess is she can swap as it's new tickets.

My other thought is can the Magic band ID number be swapped around to match her name at Guest relations or front desk?

But really is grey that bad of a color? LOL

OP can easily go into her MDE Profile area and Edit the names to match the newly traded MBs.
