Hi Could someone please tell me if when getting married in Florida am i correct in thinking all i need to do is send off for the marriage certificate. Are there any other legal requirements needed to make the marriage offical in the uk.

its actually very easy to get the marriage certificate when you're over there, it only took us an hour (there was a big queue). you need to take your passport and fill in a form. your US marriage certificate is good for changing names etc over here in the UK. i'd advise to get a few certified copies though, theyre only $2.50 each and handy to have just in case you lose the original.
