Help to convince DH.........

I need some help convincing DH to stay at the Wilderness. We normally stay at the Beach Club and we all love it but I got a code for the Wilderness or Animal Kingdom. I would rather stay at the Beach Club but with out some type of pin code we can't stay there. We have always had pin codes when we stayed there. Any ideas?? TIA

We have stayed at both WL and AKL and they are both awesome resorts . With that said, we would choose WL over AKL only because the MK area is our favorite as we love the close proximity to MK as well as to the monorail resorts for shopping, dining, or just visiting. The rooms at both are a little smaller than at the BC, but both resorts are great places to stay. If you haven't already, I would ask if the discount is good at the BC as sometimes those codes list WL and AKL as examples, but are still good at other resorts . But as far as WL vs AKL, I don't think you can go wrong with either resort as they are both beautiful resorts and both offer things unique to each resort .

Thanks, I never thought to ask if the code was good for the others. I love the look of the Wilderness. Being close to MK is also a plus for me.

You're welcome . We loved AKL, but there's something about the MK area that keeps pulling us there . I would check on the discount at BC. If it isn't as much as what it is at WL or AKL, it still might be decent enough to warrant another BC stay (if that's the resort you want). Good luck and I hope everything works out for you .

We have stayed at WL twice, it is one of our favorite deluxe resorts (BC is our other favorite resort ) and have never stayed at AKL...yet. WL is gorgeous, love the lobby, the restaurants, the theme, and the fact that it is so close to MK but it doesn't feel like being so close, it feels so remote. AKL is a gorgeous resort too, we have only visited it and want to stay there some time. The thought of Animals roaming around and being able to look out your balcony and watching them seems so amazing to me. Good luck deciding, you can't go wrong with either one of these resorts.

Love the WL!! Very nice theme-ing and has boat transport to MK. I've never stayed at AKL but it also seems beautiful. Good luck

We love WL. It is our favorite so far. It even beats out BLT and we had a 2bdrm MK view. This year will be our third to the lodge and first to the villas. Love to walk into the lobby of this wonderful place. Last visit, when we were at BLT, we went to WL for breakfast at WCC and when we walked in I asked DH if we could move then.

How old are your kids? I noticed that you have three on your signature. WL and AKL both are only four person max occupancy (allows +1 child under the age of three) for a standard room.

Absolutely love WL! It's beautiful and close to MK. We enjoyed the pools and riding the surrey bikes throughout the grounds.

You really can't go wrong with AK either.

I would say that if you want a more personable, smaller feeling resort go with WL but if you want large and expansive, go with AK.

We also received a PIN code that said it was only good for WL and AKL, however, when I went to the included website link and put in our PIN, I tried the Boardwalk just to see, and it allowed me to have the discount. It also allowed me to choose different dates than what were listed on the card, so I'd suggest going to the site and trying what you want to see if it works

What specifically is it he likes about BC? If we know that maybe we could come up with ideas of why he would like WL equally, or more.
