HELP!!! Ticket advice/info needed...
My family and I are going to be in Disney World this summer for 8 days and 7 nights. We are also DVC members and will likely be back again some time within the year...We need some advice on tickets.
First question: Would it be advantageous for us to purchase premium annual passes for WDW if we will be there at least 12 nights within the next 365 days? Or, should we stick with our usual Ultimate Park Hopper? We do go to all the parks and the water parks, so we need full access.
Second question: Can a family purchase one annual pass and let different people use it throughout the year? Exp: If I bought the annual pass and used it for the first vacation, could my brother use it three months down the line for a golf weekend? Obviously, only one person at a time, but would it be possible to share within the family?
Thanks so much for any help/advice you can give us!!!

I would say go for the AP. The break even point on a regular AP is 8 days, so you would definately get your money's worth...check out www.allearsnet.com. They have a break even chart for Park Hoppers as well as AP's.

I always get a PAP too because we go to all the water parks, the parks, PI and DQ. The cost came out this year to $13.62 a day because of how many days we used our passes. It definitely was a bargain for us! I believe it would pay for you to buy that ticket too, especially since you are going again. There are other benefits and perks to having the AP's too. You get lunch discounts at different locations in DTD and EPCOT. You may be able to get a room discount too (but that is not a sure thing). Another benefit to the PAP's and AP's is that you can come and go just like the UPH, so you don't feel like you are wasting a day's ticket to go to one park for just a few hours.

You won't be able to share with other family members because the adult PAP or AP uses biometrics (it measures the length between the first and second fingers and no one's is the same).

If you don't plan on going to DQ and plan on staying onsite all the time, I would go for the regular AP rather tahn the PAP. I believe you can get into PI and the water parks w/ it, and staying onsite you don't have to pay to park anyway.

And, no, you are not allowed to trade off on Ap's. It is for you and you alone.

EDIT: oops, I was wrong. The regular AP does not include water parks, etc, just the 4 major parks. Nevermind! :)

Thanks everyone! That was really helpful information.
As t turns out, the PAP may be the best option for our entire family afterall. Good to know!
