I have 3 DD's the same ages as your girls - 14, 11 & 11. Here are some of the non-park things we have enjoyed.
--Breakfast at Trail's End Buffet in FW & then renting bikes. We ride them over to the WL.
--After turning in the bikes you can then take a boat over to the Contemporary & let them play in their game room - it is the largest on property.
--After that take a monorail ride to the Poly or GF & rent water mice - or you could rent them right at the CR.
--On this last trip we did Putt Putt at Fantasia Gardens & then went over to Beaches & Cream for "lunch" - we had The Kitchen Sink. They LOVED it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
--In the evening go on over to the Boardwalk for an ice cream & watch the entertainment.
--Take & day & go shopping & to lunch with them at Downtown Disney. Go to Ghiardelli's for ice cream. Let them get a hair wrap. Or skip lunch & have one of each snack they have!!
--Spend at day at the pool with a great book & lots of sunscreen!
--Go to AKL to watch the animals graze - have dinner at Boma.
--Go to a movie in DTD - they have a huge theatre.
My DD's love when we have what we call "topsy turvy" days. We don't plan anything, we just go with the flow - if we eat, we eat, if we snack, we snack. Lunch can be ice cream & dinner can be a turkey leg! They enjoy when "mom" doesn't always act like a "mom"!!!
Have a great time. I'm sure there are many more non-park things, but these are a few of the things my DD's have enjoyed - & seeing as their the same age, maybe yours would enjoy this also.
