Help things to do. No parks

I have 3 DD's the same ages as your girls - 14, 11 & 11. Here are some of the non-park things we have enjoyed.

--Breakfast at Trail's End Buffet in FW & then renting bikes. We ride them over to the WL.

--After turning in the bikes you can then take a boat over to the Contemporary & let them play in their game room - it is the largest on property.

--After that take a monorail ride to the Poly or GF & rent water mice - or you could rent them right at the CR.

--On this last trip we did Putt Putt at Fantasia Gardens & then went over to Beaches & Cream for "lunch" - we had The Kitchen Sink. They LOVED it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

--In the evening go on over to the Boardwalk for an ice cream & watch the entertainment.

--Take & day & go shopping & to lunch with them at Downtown Disney. Go to Ghiardelli's for ice cream. Let them get a hair wrap. Or skip lunch & have one of each snack they have!!

--Spend at day at the pool with a great book & lots of sunscreen! :sunny:

--Go to AKL to watch the animals graze - have dinner at Boma.

--Go to a movie in DTD - they have a huge theatre.

My DD's love when we have what we call "topsy turvy" days. We don't plan anything, we just go with the flow - if we eat, we eat, if we snack, we snack. Lunch can be ice cream & dinner can be a turkey leg! They enjoy when "mom" doesn't always act like a "mom"!!!

Have a great time. I'm sure there are many more non-park things, but these are a few of the things my DD's have enjoyed - & seeing as their the same age, maybe yours would enjoy this also.

We had lots of non-park days on our last trip, but I needed a disney fix everyday, so this is what we did:

-Downtown Disney: I could easily spend a few days here, just eating an shopping!

-Boardwalk: more shopping, eating, and watching the entertainment in the evening...we also rented a surrey bike!

-Movies: You could visit the AMC on the Westside, but since we were offsite for this portion of our trip, we visited Muvico on Universal and got to see Finding Nemo!

-Dinner at AKL: or any other resort, we gave ourselves a mini-tour of the resort, checked out the lobby, savannah, gift shop and even rode the elevators!

-Character Breakfast at Cape May Cafe: we did this on our last day, just before we headed out and loved it! It was sad to leave, but we went out with a bang!

While not officially allowed, many people do make use of the pools at different resorts when they are staying onsite (with the exception of SaB). As long as you visit the pools at non-crowded times, go ahead and let your kids try some of the pools at the other resorts if you think that's something they would enjoy doing. Just be respectful of the guests of that hotel and pick a different place/pool if the one you visit looks too crowded. You might get a handful of people here telling you how 'wrong' that is and what a bad person you are if you pool hop, but believe me, they don't represent the opinions of the people your likely to encounter while on a WDW vacation. Just enjoy yourself and show your kids a good time....

All of the resort pools have signs posted that the pools are for the exclusive use of the hotel guests. Use what you pay for.

Deb, we have tried to explain to Johare the official rules but he won't listen  . It's sad, but you just have to leave some people to break the rules as they please and 'steal' other resorts amenities.

:wave2:

DD and I went to the campfire @ FW and she absolutely loved it!
