I just graduated from Capital law and had my party, so I got a significant amount of money from the relatives. :cool1: Anyway, I was looking online at that $57 a day at a value resort with free dining offer. I added up what it would cost to go regularly at that time, and I think its a great value.

So anyway...what I need help with is convincing myself to go. Since I got the money from relatives as a graduation present I can definitely afford to go. It would also be a nice vacation as I will just have taken the Ohio Bar exam. The only thing is I was considering taking my whole family in December for a week (as long as I have a job). Is this too much Disney? Is it really that much of a value that I should not pass it by??

well, to start off with ...CONGRATS!! and you are on my schdeule!! I start school Sept 2nd. So I am doing a last woohoo...Aug 25th till sept 1st (school starts the 2nd) so I have to say, GO ON BOTH!! You earned it, and it is a nice finish to many years of school! there are great values at that time.

So I have to say do both, there is NO SUCH THING as TO MUCH DINSEY!!:woohoo:

Yes it is a great value. Just remember that 57/ day included two children in the example of 4.

57$ a day for two children? Now I am confused :confused3

It would be my BF and I, does this mean we need to have 4 people to do the $57 a day with the free dining deal?

If you read the small print on the ad it states how the 57 was calculated. It is the total for 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child sharing a room. If there are only 2 adults you will pay the rack rate for the room and ticket price. That will bring up the price per person since the 2 children do not have to pay for the room and there is only one room. It will still be a good deal but not 57/day pp. We paid something like 1195 for a week for 8 day park hoppers and 7 nights at a Value last Sept. with the free dining.

We booked a value resort and paid $93 per night including taxes for 2 adults total. We also got the free DDP for the both of us with that. SO...the room and food per day is running us 46.50 per person.

Plus- we have to pay for tickets.

As far as I know though- the only rooms left are at the Caribbean beach resort- a moderate. Call TODAY and try and book. Otherwise all the rooms will be gone.

I'm paying $835 for 4 nights discounted deluxe dining for 2 adults and one-day tickets. Deluxe dining is a great deal at $32 a night.

So in total it is $105ish per person a night for 4 nights.

I personally do not think dining is all that! I am not getting it. I cannot EAT that much food! I was told $37 dollars thou. I much rather have the room discounted and just eat what I want! I never spend over 25 a day:confused3

Can you tell me what it is you are eating for breakfast, lunch and dinner that is only running you 25 bucks? My guess is that the only way to do that is to eat CS food all day- and most (not all) is junk type food. Nothing wrong with that if it works for you, but me? I'd be sitting on the toilet by day 3! :lmao:

well, I do not eat junk, I have crohns disease and have problems with eating. sorry.... I eat my bigger meal for breakfast which is room service and I do a 3 egg white omelet with ham and cheese and during the day I have either a turkey, or tuna sandwich or a hamburger. I do keep cereal in room for in between.

that is it!
sorry I do not eat more, by my body will not let me!

Makes sense then for you not to get the DDP. I'd actually end up passing out by the end of the day on that amount of food in DW. I need to eat probably twice that much food :) I don't think I'd be able to handle the deluxe DDP with 3 table service meals per day but the basic DDP is just about right food wise for me.

if I got one of those plans, I would end up in the hospital!:scared1: :offtopic:
