Good Morning!

DD and I are AP holders and love going to DL.

My dsis is coming from Virginia to visit us over the holidays. She wants to spend a day at DL. She has never been to DL.

SInce she does not travel well I do not expect her to return to visit us anytime soon. We normally travel to see her to make it easier on her.

By not travel well I mean airports and such, she is fine in a car.

So... I need ideas on how to give her a great DL experience. DD and I have become a little spoiled with our APs.

I want to make the day special for her.

Ger her a first visit button, take her to see Tink & the other Fairies, make a PS for a meal at BB or CC, take her to visit Mickey in Toontown.

Depending on how much time you have before she arrives, it might be cute to mail her a map and a small box full of your favorite park essentials (like your favorite sunscreen, a disposable camera, your favorite snacks, a good fanny pack/cheap backpack) so that she can go fully prepped. Definitely start off getting her a 1st visit pin, like PixieWings mentioned, and ask where her favorite character will be and when for a meet and greet. Planning out the day beforehand will help you get to everything she wants to see and do. Make sure to take plenty of pictures (there is no shame in taking a picture with Pooh) and use your knowledge of insider tips to your advantage (such as hitting up ToonTown when it first opens to avoid the crowd when it comes to meeting Mickey, which is a must).
