HELP! Swan or Dolphin?

Help. I'm going 2nd week of November. I need to know which hotel is better for two small kids ( 6 & 9 ). Pools, foodcourt, and which one has less conventions esp. in November! THANKS.

I have stayed at both and they are both WONDERFUL!! The Dolphin is a little more kid friendly because it has the food court Tubbi's and is a tad closer to the pool. The Dolphin also has a much more impressive lobby. The Swan probably has fewer convention goers, but it looks more like a business hotel. It's much smaller so you don't have walk so far to get places. We enjoyed are stay at both, and I'm not sure which I will stay in next time!

We loved the SWan when we stayed there last december-jan. It is a Westin hotel and service is great as are the rooms. We did visit the Dolphin to eat at Fresh and Dolphin Fountain and it is beautiful. We liked the Swan because it is the smaller of the 2, but I wouldn't hestitate to stay at either. Grotto pool is closer to Dolphin, boat ramp is right in between the 2.

I did say that the Dolphin is closer to the grotto pool, but now that I think about it, it seems like I walked less from the East Wing of the Swan this year than I did from the far East Wing of the Dolphin last year. If you can get a room on the West wing or maybe even the Central part of the Dolphin, the pool will be closer.

This is a most wonderful, marvelous quandry to be in because they are both splendid!!!!! This was a good thread and you'll enjoy the opinions I think.
