Hello!

We will be staying at POP CENTURY from April 14-24 and made priority seating for the CRT and PS in Epcot..planning to make another reservation at the Cinderella's Gala Feast. My dd who's 5 yr is a super princess fan. I want to make this trip fun and memorable for her.

Anyways, I want to surprise her with 3 diff princess gowns which she can wear for the 3 Princess Character priority seatings that we will be going to. She really loves to dress up in princess ball gowns. I want to order it ahead of time and have the costumes delivered to our room so I can surprise her...Any ideas how I can do this? Can I order from www.disneystore.com and have items delivered to the hotel? Do I need to call and talk to someone from POP CENTURY with regards to this? Or would you know if any one can arrange this for me?

I am from out of the country, so, all your help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Years ago I did a 'gift a day' thing with my young children (sure, fun...but then for awhile they didn't seem to understand why this didn't happen on EVERY trip they went on....)

Anyway, I just packed the stuff I wanted to leave out for them and brought it with us. As we exited the room each morning, I'd say something like "Oops, forgot my purse..." and run back in while dad stood with them in the hall.

Sometimes the beds might not be made but housekeeping would usually make the beds and place the gifts on top OR I'd leave them on the desk in the room.

This way you will have control - otherwise your package might not "show up" or the hotel might deliver to the wrong room, or forget... or whatever.

I've also done the gift a day idea. I would also buy/pack everything in our suitcases. The resorts won't leave packages in the rooms unless you are staying concierge. Like Puffy mentioned, just find an excuse to go back into the room and pull the gift out for that day. I found that small gifts were just as fun as the gowns will be. I looked around for lotion kits, nail polish kits, etc. You can pick them up so inexpensively and it gave the kids something to do in the evenings to help chill out. My kids could not wait to get back to the resort each day to see what "surprises" were waiting for them.

I had a gift for my children from Mickey and Cinderella. After we got in the room, I got them occupied out on the balcony- but you could have them in the bathroom, over by the vanity, or something. I snuck the gifts outside our door and knocked on it- then snuck back in without them knowing. Then- "who's at the door? Oh, look, a bag with your name on it" I told them the characters sent them to the hotel for them and the hotel worker knocked on our door to deliver it. This was kinda weak, but it worked- my kids are only 2 and 4.
Maybe ask the bellman to deliver it for you for a tip. Or, if you are married or traveling with someone, have them go to the room first and put the gifts out- just tell them they have to make sure the room is OK before everyone goes.
Good luck!
