Hello,
SORRY to ask, but I can't get my search button to work (it keeps saying disabled!) Anyways... We are planning on taking our own stroller from home and was wandering if anyone has any suggestions on how to keep it safe? I have read where people have come out of attractions and NO STROLLER!!!
THANKS for the advice!!!

We've never had a problem with our own stroller...I believe the problem is more with the strollers you rent at WDW and it has more to do with the fact that people get confused - note that on some attractions, WDW employees will move your stroller to keep all of the strollers better organized, so you come out of the attraction and the stroller isn't where you left it.

We usually try to "personalize" our stroller, by tying a bandana to the handle or some such thing. This keeps people from confusing it with their stroller.

We don't need one any more but we have taken a stroller to WDW 2-4x per year for many years and never had one stolen or anything taken from it. You may find it moved at some attractions esp if you happen to leave it in a place other than "stroller parking" lol. I used to pack two small bags, one with snacks, change of clothes, diapers etc and the other with more valuables - camera, passes etc. I would leave the diaper, snack bag in the stroller and keep the other with me on rides etc.

I have had my WDW rental taken a couple times but I never left anything in the rentals. A quick walk back to the rental place with my receipt and it was replaced.

I always used a brightly colored bandana - the craziest one I could find to tie to the handle for ease of recognizing the stroller.

We have rented a WDW stroller and taken our own in the past; the WDW strollers all look alike so they are more prone to be taken by mistake (I try not to be cynical!). If you bring your own stroller, I think you will be just fine in terms of locating it after each attraction.

Another option, depending on the length of your trip, is to reserve the DIS stroller so you do not need to bring your own. We are going to try this option on our forthcoming trip....check out the link if you you think it would work for you....

Have a great trip :D

12 trips with strollers and never a problem....:D :D

I've never had a problem, either. I tied a couple pieces of my lime green ribbon to the handle and could spot my stroller easily. I left a backpack under the stroller and it was never bothered.
