I need help!! I have a 1 bedroom booked at SSR from Sun 127/08 through Sat 12/13/08. I am waitlisted at AK for either sun-Weds or Weds through Sat. Here's my issue, I am going with my 9 and 16 year old nephews and my brother. My DB likes to get up early and wander the resort (he loved BWV). I waitlisted for AKL for my nephews but I am concerned that they may get bored at that resort. Seeing that the parks close earlier than I am used to, I am wondering if I should stay at SSR which will give us the opportunity to go to DD at night. Then again, my nephews loved staying at the BWV as they liked to walk back from Epcot(however this is the only resort they have stayed at). Should I just stay at SSR? should I add BWV to be waitlisted or should I just keep hoping to get AKL (my favorite)? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would do a split stay between BWV and AK. I also love the AK, but it is so far away from everything and if I don't need to rely on the buses then I don't want to. A short stay to take it all in at the AK is enough for me. It is beautiful. I love the BWV and the BCV, they cannot be beat for the location, beauty and pools. It can make everyone happy. Just got back for one night at WLV, hated it, followed by one week at the BCV, loved it! Good luck.

I wouldn't want to move so many people, so I wouldn't do a split stay. Consider too that with a split stay you'll be "homeless" for several hours of the day of the move, most likely.

They're your points - book where YOU want to stay. They're getting a free trip to WDW, which is very generous on your part. I cannot imagine any kid or adult being "bored" at AKL.....but if I honestly thought they would be & they were my nephews, I wouldn't have invited them. There's plenty to do & see at AKL - and brother & the boys could always hop a bus to Downtown Disney whenever they wanted to (but are guys/boys really into shopping??).
