Help! southwest, family got boarding high A, low B

I almost forgot! Earlier I had gone to talk to the woman at the desk. She wasn't sure what to do but suggested, if nothing better, to have those from the A Group save seats! I know that's been an issue for debate here on the DIS. My jaw may have dropped when I heard that! Lol
