I had 6 hours total for the day before we left for our cruise... Now its getting harder and harder for me to justify going into the magic kingdom!!!! Im mad and want to know what I can do about it???? :earseek: pirate:

For a one hour change, nothing.

Hi, were you flying out of Stewart/Newburgh? We are from Hurley, and really like Southeast BUT they cut their flights departing from two to one per day and the one (in September) didn't get in until 10:00 PM. All I could imagine is having the flight cancelled and having no other choice but waiting a whole day to get the next one if it was even available. Also they're a charter airline and I believe they have no agreements with other airlines to rebook. We now use Southwest out of Albany and I really like them better. I don't know what Southeast's policy is on cancelling but maybe you can find a better flight on Southwest, they're having an internet special now and I just purchased my flights for $49.00 each way. Also it's much less of a hassle flying into MCO than SFB as far as ground transportation is concerned. PS, I read in the Poughkeepsie Journal that they are adding more flights to/from Stewart but they are not appearing on the website yet.

SWA does not cancel or change flights once they are posted, this is does not count bad weather or other occurances out of their control. Once the post it, it is pretty much in concrete.

Yes I am flying out of stewart! I live in Highland and love being so close to the airport. I have read on other threads that I have searched that they can give you an option of another flight if one is available.. It appears that there are still two fights to stanford on the day that I leave and that Im still on the first one... I just want more time in florida.... yes even if it is for 1 hour... Wondering if i could changed my date and fly out one day earlier since they made a change in my schedule???

Yes Gail, that is exactly why we love SouthWest! No surprises once they post their schedule you can count on it. In all fairness this is the first time I've heard of SouthEast changing the flight times. Boy I'm making myself dizzy toggling between SouthWest and SouthEast in my posts!

D'Angelosdodisney, it wouldn't hurt to call them. I have always found SouthEast's reps very nice and knowledgable. I understand after planning everything down to the minute how important an hour is! Good luck and let me know how you make out. Have a great trip.

I just got an email, from Spirit, letting me know of a time change for our upcoming flights, but it's not really a big deal...10 minutes earlier down and 15 minutes earlier back.

Ours changed on Spirit, an hour earlier in both directions from whrn I first booked it. Good news for the arrival day, too bad for the departure day.

Southeast is organized as a charter airline. As such if they change the schedule they are NOT obligated to do much of anything. You might try calling them and asking for the flight the day before, but that is up to them.
