my son 29 has a broken dome bone is his foot he refused a cast so they put him in an air cast , and crutches will they let him on the rides? do they have wheel chairs to rent , we leave in two weeks can we change person going? its a land sea package?

Sorry about your son. They do have wheelchairs to rent in the parks and motorized scooters. The resorts also have wheelchairs that can be borrowed.

I don't believe they are suppose to help him on the ride, but I don't think he will have any problems. Rides like HM and buzz (continous), they will stop or slow down. Some cm's will problably help but don't get upset if they don't because I think its a liable issue.

I took my mother in a air cast a few years ago and she had no problems. Have a great time and lots of pixie dust!! :wizard:

If he has a talar dome fracture, please try to convince him to wear a cast. It's a greater risk for future arthritis if he doesn't.

If you can't get him in a cast, will he even agree to a chair?

My advice would be get him a hard removable cast, sometimes called a cam walker. More supportive then the aircasts (IMHO), allows more ambulation. He could use that without crutches for ride transfers and if he was really stubborn  (basing this on pts like this) and walked correctly could use it without crutches. Certainly not ideal, but some people won't let you do ideal.

Nothing personal intended, just have dealt with a lot of 20-30 y.o males that will only do so much.
