Help! Something is trying to take over my computer!

I've scanned, downloaded ad aware, deleted cookies, and who knows what else and something called coolshader.exe keeps trying to take over. Also, coolsearch.biz has taken over my homepage. I've deleted it and put the old one back several times. Norton is up to date. One more thing, wmplayer.exe keeps trying to get through my firewall. Any ideas?

Sounds like the CoolSearch hackware was downloaded onto your PC. See if this thread help you....

SpyHunter - it worked miracles on my computer. My homepage was getting hijacked constantly and my computer was all but spent. Dan "The Man" Murphy suggested SpyHunter and it's worked like a charm.
