Help! Someone stop me....

Why can't I stop buying paper? and stuff. Now for some reason I want punchies!?!? I took my whole family to Michael's armed with coupons ( had 2 ACMoore and 2 Michael's)! Then today I ran around and bought 2 more punchies, more paper I walked around Michael's for over an hours making sure I used the last of my 40% off coupons! ( got one from my neigbors!)

I know what you mean. I've got the same problem! I get a bee in my bonnet about something and I can't rest until I buy it! It's scary! If you find a cure, let me know.

I know what you mean! I managed to get two of those Michael's coupons myself and I plan to go after work ... I need a circle cutter so that will definetly be one of my purchases

It is of no use Sondra- You must give yourself up to the powers that be and woefully accept your new addiction.......... LOL- I am the same way! I am amassing quite the collection of "stuff" !!! I too can spend a couple of hours in Micheals and god help me if I get my paws on more than one coupon!!

LOl Janice, just get on the phone with Mark (our LSS owner) and it's amazing what you can agree to order without even entering the store.

I've just ordered a Sizzix.... He doesn't even have any dies for it, I've got to find someone else to sell me those, but since he had the sizzix, and it was on sale, I heard myself saying yes

Mind you, I will have fun with it once I get some dies!

AHHH yes I knew all of my friends here would help me recover from my addiction! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!! One good thing I will say, all the tools I have bought I actually use so that is a plus....but paper....I can't even lift my tote that has my paper and die cuts in it! LOL!

Bev have you looked at EBay? Last place I need to be but I was surfing there last night and some people said they would ship over seas....

I am glad to see someone else has my addiction. Just when I was putting myself on a spending halt our AC Moore just upgraded the scrapbooking dept and I just couldn't control myself. They now carry twistel, eyelets, the new MAMBI line....I was in heaven until my husband saw the bill and flipped! We just remodeled our kitchen and have to watch the pennies for a while. I have vowed to stay out of AC Moore until I use up a bunch of my paper and sticker letters but, oh no, the kids just got their AC Moore $5 birthday coupons!!! Can I resist the lure of the scrapbooking aisles??? Stay tuned for the conclusion of this drama!

I've managed to avoid ebay up to now, I'm kinda nervous about venturing in for fear of what I may spend....

the sad thing is I have done so few layouts lately, I just keep buying stuff.

I think I'm going to have to cut right back on everything else, if I am going to start collecting dies - it's not like I haven' t got enough supplies to complete about 10 albums already.

I am not a collector so I couldn't relate with the wife of a college when she told me she buys 3 sheets of a paper, 2 to use and 1 to save as if she uses it, it is gone and she won't have it anymore.
I use very few stickers but I do buy them now and then. I bought a pack of Renae Lindgren stickers, the ones with the butterflies, just because I liked them. I just used them in a rainforest cafe layout that they were perfect for. When I realized they were no longer available to me I had to run out immediately and buy another pack. I was so afraid I would need them for something else and I wouldn't have them anymore.
Funny thing is I ran into that same wife of a college while I was out buying my Renae Lindgren stickers. I had to let her know I could now relate.

I got the Sizzix machine for my birthday (no dies!) and I am really wanting the Shadow alphabet. I will probably have to get them one at a time with the Michaels coupons. I tried to get the dies that I knew I would use the most or would be most versatile. I got the camera (and used it to make a shaker box...very cute) also I thought it would make cute gift tags, etc... and just goes with the scrapbooking hobby, and the ivy and vine looking dies which are great to use along with punched flowers and stuff like that, and the picket fence b/c I thought it could be used in white for gardening/Easter/Spring type layouts and then in brown or black for farm/Halloween type layouts. I really think I will get the most use out of the alphabet when I start "collecting" it...

They sure have a lot of cute ones
