I have 2 daughters playing in a world series next week. The first game played each team exchanges gift bags. I need to come up with 15 items per daughter (30 total) that we can donate to put in our teams gift bags. Some of the ideas from the current and past teams are: (the girls are 12 on one team and 14 years old on the other)

Something with local significance
sunflower seeds
gatorade
lip gloss
razor/shaving cream
head bands
candy
cracker jacks

I thought something OSU themed would be nice (local significance), but I can't really find anything inexpensive, $2 or less per child would be best. Any ideas on something I could make?

Thanks

My DD14 plays softball, too. Some ideas I thought of:

Chap-Stick (w/ sunblock)
small bottle of sunblock
bubblegum
ponytail holders
eye-black

Good luck to both girls!

What about OSU pens or pencils? They are all over up in NE Ohio. Also, what about water bottles? Might be able to find some with OSU logo on them.

In terms of making something, what about getting some OSU material and making pony tail holders for the girls? Easy to make, and would take very little material for each one.

How old are they? My dollar store had HSM hand sanitizer on keychains.

My dds cheerleading squad does this, they are all under 10, we do things like cute notepads and pencils, lip gloss, claires trinkets, small lotions, scrunchies, sticker sheets, cute little HSM, Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers items. It's so much fun shopping for the items! Have fun.

Check out the target $1 spot, lots of cute stuff! Don't know if they are too old for Hannah or HSM, if not, lots of stuff in those themes.

Just came from WalMart where they have lightweight canvas Americana designs tote bags on sale. Marked down from $10 to $2. The brand is No Boundaries and the styles are quite cute.

My DD played in the Darlings World Series last year. Some of the things she received were playing cards, as you said - something your state is known for (she got a stress ball tomato, a mini-bottle of tab. sauce, etc.), ink pens, notepads, etc. Maybe you could make some of those cold neck wrap things (you can search the internet for how to make them.) We were so HOT last year during the games and we were just watching so you know the girls were hot. I don't remember her getting anything really "girly" so to speak.

We usually do beads, like Mardi Gras but with softballs on them, ordered on the internet. If you have a Kroger grocery they have this baseball snackpack thats in a little plastic container with gum, peanuts, caramel corn and fruit snacks for $1 each. It says baseball snack pack but I guess it could be used for softball also.
